Support for your dog, support for you.
Every dog is an individual, with their own unique personality, history, and way of coping with the world. Just like us, dogs can struggle with challenges that affect how they think, feel, and behave — and those struggles don’t always have simple solutions.
Behavioural issues can take many forms, including separation-related distress, fear or anxiety-based behaviours, aggression, or issues linked to neurological or medical conditions. These behaviours often develop over time, and so does the process of supporting change.
It is important to know that behaviour support isn’t about “fixing” your dog — it is about understanding them. Progress can be slow, and outcomes depend on many factors such as your dog’s health, lifestyle, past experiences, and individual needs. While some behaviours can be significantly improved, others may need to be carefully managed over the long term.
Whatever your situation, you are not alone. We are here to support you with practical guidance, realistic expectations, and welfare-focused strategies that help both you and your dog move forward — together.

Every dog deserves to feel safe, understood, and supported — and helping them get there takes time, patience, and the right approach. Our behaviour work is broken into three key stages:

We begin with a thorough behaviour consultation, in person or remotely, to understand your dog’s history, environment, lifestyle, and the behaviour concerns you are facing.
This allows us to assess what’s going on and why — and to start putting management strategies in place right away to reduce stress and improve safety for everyone involved.

Before we begin behaviour modification, we need to make sure your dog is ready to learn and cope. This phase is all about building strong foundations and setting your dog up for success. This might involve:
Think of this phase like preparing a person for therapy — if someone is exhausted, in pain, or living in constant stress, they won’t be in the right state of mind to make lasting change. The same is true for dogs.

Once the groundwork is in place, we can begin behaviour modification — a structured process of helping your dog feel more comfortable and confident in the situations that overwhelm them.
Using welfare-friendly, science-based techniques, we work at your dog’s pace to change their emotional responses, build resilience, and teach alternative behaviours. This stage is tailored to your dog’s unique needs and guided by ongoing support and coaching.
